Walk on the Wild Side

Yesterday the kids went to camp and although Moshe normally gets picked up after camp from his gan, yesterday pick up was at the school. Moshe and Meira were both very excited to walk home together and I was very excited that I didn't have to pick them up. They worked on workbooks for awhile and then we went outside to ride their bikes. After picking up Michali from Gan Dina , she did puzzles with Moshe, while Meira read in her room. After dinner we took a walk. It was actually nice out and we walked to the Saltzman's house where the kids admired the rock garden and Moshe checked out the huge bag of rocks. We went a little further to a park and the kids played for a while. No one wanted to leave the park, but it was time for bed. a few minutes after we got home, Nafi walked in the door. It was very early for him. Everyone was very excited to see Nafi before they went to sleep. He put the kids to bed and we watched the season Finale of Grey's Anatomy. Merav was very good all day and then she decided to stay up until 3:40 am. she was just awake, not crying, but she wanted to be held. She was very smiley most of the day, here are a few pictures.

Since I didn't get to bed until 4 am I knew we were going to have a problem getting up this morning. I set a few alarms and I did manage to get out of bed at 10. I woke Merav and fed her, then I rushed to get out the door for her 2 month Tipat Chalv appointment. We were only a few minutes late. We met with a new nurse this time. She was very nice. She declared Merav perfectly healthy before she plunged a little needle into her thigh. She actually sang to her while she gave her the shots, which I thought was very sweet and calming. Merav is now 5 kilo (11.023 pounds) she has gained 2 kilo since she was born. She is HUGE! After waiting the 20 minutes after the shot to make sure she was okay, we ran to Mister Zol (there was no time for Rami Levi today) and the dry cleaners. Meira and Moshe both had a great day at Camp. Moshe went to the Biblical Zoo in Yerushalayim today. He was very excited that he saw tevat Noach. I only realized later that he thought it was the real thing. He was a little disappointed when I told him it wasn't the real thing. Meira and Moshe both received their new Camp T shirts today. Moshe told me that he loved it so much and the counselor told him he needs to wear it everyday. He changed his tune during dinner, when I suggested that he should be careful not to get spaghetti and meatballs over his shirt he said" Why? This shirt isn't important or special. Yael didn't buy it!" Needless to say he got sauce all over it and it's in the laundry. He will not be wearing it tomorrow!
