Leaving Las Vegas

Today was my mom's last day here. We thought it would be nice to take the kids to paint pottery after camp. They all had a great time. I forgot to take pictures of the end result, but will try to remember when I pick them up. Michali spent a lot of time on her butterfly. She painted one half brown and the other blue. (I was very impressed with her color choices.) Then, when she saw that Moshe had mixed up all his colors she decided to follow suit.

After stopping at a book/toy store to get Meira some workbooks she needed over the summer and to buy Moshe a pencil case for 1st grade we went home to play cards. Playing cards is what I believe my mom did most with Meira and Moshe during her trip. With Meira it was kings in the corner, spit or gin and with Moshe she played go fish or Texas hold'em. Over her trip you would have thought we turned the house into a casino. My mom declared Moshe ready for Vegas!

EAfter an afternoon of cards we ordered dinner from Burgers bar. Everyone got ready for bed and then said goodbye to Savta!! Thank you for coming!!
