Lag B'omer melted
Monday Moshe woke up early with a headache and said he couldn't go to gan. Nafi woke me before he left for work to tell me that Moshe was sick. I should get up because he was staying home. Merav was still asleep so I was not very happy to be getting out of bed. Nafi left and Moshe hung out with me. It seems that whatever was bothering in the morning quickly disappeared as his ride to gan drove away. He was completely fine. He watched TV and read me a few stories from English while I feed Merav and then we all got dressed and went to tipat chalav.

As soon as we walked in the door the nurse wanted to know why Moshe was there. Is he sick?? (read: why did you bring your sick kid to tipat chalav!!) I told her that he was fine. Merav was very good. She got one shot and she only cried for a few minutes. She now weighs 4200 g (9.26 lb) up from 3 weeks ago 3200 g (7.06 lb). She has obviously been eating well.
On Tuesday after school I took Moshe and Michali to a few shoe stores in search of sandals. They tried on lots of sandals, but nothing fit. We arrived a the 3rd store at 3:15 to find they are closed between 2 and 4. We gave up on the sandals and headed home.
Gila arrived about an hour later with Ariella, Yaakov and dinner. The kids played nicely and the dinner was yummy!! (Thanks GILA) We said our good byes and then we closed the door. A few minutes later there was a knock. Yaakov wanted to give Michali a hug. Michali jumped up from her puzzle spread out her arms and started to run with full force towards Yaakov who was doing the same thing. It was really adorable until, they did not slow down and smacked their faces together. Gila and I couldn't help but laugh. They were both crying, but they hugged through their tears and we said good night. Here's a picture of Moshe and Ariella enjoying dinner.
Yesterday as we were driving home Michali looked out onto the field on the way to our house and said "Ima, Lag B'omer melted" I'm not sure what took her so long to notice that the huge piles of wood are no longer there, but I thought it was funny.
Today we had an uneventful morning. I did manage to sign the kids up for camp. Everyone was busy until bedtime with various activities and they all went to sleep.
