I did it!!

Okay, so now that Arica and Lanie have their blogs up & running and Michal Avigayil has made her grand entrance into this world, I felt that there was no time like the present to start up our blog. I can't promise that I'll always have time to write, but I will try to post new pictures on a regular basis. I just remembered that the new pictures are on the laptop, so I'll have to post the pictures later. I hope to do it before shabbos.

Just a quick update today…

Meira got up early and got herself dressed. She tried to wake me, but I told her it was too early. Of course I said this with out opening my eyes and looking at the clock. The next thing I know she is telling me that someone is knocking on our door. Sure enough it was 7:48 and Aviva (who we carpool with) was waiting outside. This has never happened before. I guess it’s a normal result of the sleepless nights. Nafi helped her put her sandals on (It will be 75 degrees today.) and sent her on our way. It’s a good thing that she is so good and gets ready for school all by herself.

After we woke Moshe I brought Michal into his room and put her on his bed. He said, “Ima, you hold her! I no want to share my bed with Michal Avigayil. Put her over there.” He pointed to her crib. I guess he made it clear how he feels about his bed. He then gave her a kiss and I took her back to our room to finish feeding her. He really loves her. He spends at least an hour a day hanging over her bassinet asking if it’s time to wake her up to play. It’s very cute. Nafi got Moshe ready for school and dropped him off before running a long list of errands.

Michal has been so good. (Bli Ein Ha’rah) She is so calm. We took her to see Dr. Feldman yesterday and she is happy, healthy and her weight is up to 6.13. She was 7.3 at birth and 6.6 when we left the hospital. I’m going to bring her back next week just to make she is back up to her birth weight, but based of the way she has been eating, that shouldn’t be a problem. I better finish cleaning off the dining room table before Michal wakes up.

Wow, who knew I would have so much to write.

Have a good shabbos.
